January 3:
Allyson McDonald, Garden Enthusiast, Photographer

Enjoy a travelogue of the beautiful gardens of Cornwall and Devon. Escape winter through Allyson’s incredible photographs and wonderful dialogue. Allyson’s presentations are always enjoyed by our members.

February 7:
Natasha Collins, Landscape Architect and Arborist  

Natasha, is a new arrival to Tillsonburg. She will share with us the how, when, where and whys of pruning in your garden.

March 7:
Nancy Abra, London Middlesex Master Gardener
Nancy’s presentation, Remembering Them, talks about the horticultural aspects of the Commonwealth War Graves with a little history thrown in. This presentation has been very well received by other societies in our district.

April 4:
Matt Fenn, Tillsonburg Garden Gate.
Get ready for a new gardening season.  Matt will show what is new for 2017. Come and learn how to update your garden and get excited about the arrival of spring.

May 2:
Stephen Douglas, Director, District 10
Stephen is an aficionado of hostas. He will educate us on the new varieties and will bring along several hostas to be given away.

June 6:
Nadia Cavallin, Field Botanist, Royal Botanical Gardens
Wildflowers of Southwestern Ontario is Nadia’s topic. We see them but do we know them?

September 5:
Mitchell Hewson, Registered Horticultural Therapist
Mitchell Hewson is a world-renowned author and speaker, knowledgable and very entertaining. Mitchell will speak about The Power of Nature. Live the healthy life with natural remedies and horticulture.

October 3:
Larry Patterson, Professor Emeritus, University of Guelph.
Learn what lies beneath the soil and how plants and fungi work together as only Mother Nature can create. Larry presented at District 10 and those who attended were amazed and insisted he come and share his knowledge.

November 7: 
Hilde Makkink, Makkink Sunflower Farm, Tillsonburg
Hilde will be demonstrating decorating ideas. There will be three draws for her creations.

December 5
Christmas Pot Luck Dinner
